Initial contract is six months, and then becomes month-to-month. We are confident that by the end of your six month contract, you will see the results desired (and more). Should either party wish to alter or terminate the contract at any time after that, written notice is required. Changes will take effect 30 days from notice, and termination will take effect 60 days from written notice.

Fees and Payments

Our fees vary depending on services provided for your practice. Medical billing is charged at a percentage of total revenue received for the practice. This structure gives incentive to get your practice the maximum reimbursement possible in a timely manner. Clients are billed at the beginning of each month for the previous month’s fee, and is due within 15 days of receipt of your invoice.

HIPAA and OIG Compliance

All of our client’s data and their patient’s data are held to the strictest privacy standards. All personal health information is securely transmitted, and all data is backed up on a server that exceeds HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) standards. The U.S. Department of Health & Human Services can offer more information regarding the specifics of HIPAA.

In addition to HIPAA, In Charge Office Solutions follows guidelines set by the Office of Inspector General that were written specifically for third-party medical billing companies and HIPAA compliance. This text is named “OIG Compliance Program Guidance for Third-Party Medical Billing Companies.”
